I paint tiny portals to secret worlds that feel like jewelry boxes you could step inside. ✧

I think of my work as angel archaeology — a kind of imaginary field study of beautiful things. Crystals, seashells, cave paintings, flowers, ancient artifacts and tiny treasures become clues to something celestial. I’m especially drawn to things that conceal little worlds of their own: lockets, jewelry boxes, music boxes and other tiny things meant to be opened and discovered.

My paintings bring the primordial and celestial together: ancient earth and glowing jewel worlds, things discovered in caves and things that might have fallen from heaven.

I want each painting to feel precious, miniature and glowing with things to discover — a tiny world that keeps revealing itself the longer you look.

In my mind, I’m a little fairy researcher creating a field guide to all of it: collecting beautiful evidence, studying it very seriously, and following it deeper into the unknown. ♡ ✧
